Saving the best until last, announcing...Martin Zubimendi! What a stunning performance from the Spaniard. Not only did Zubi score an early contender for goal of the season, he also made a dynamic impact on the tempo of the match.

His first goal for the club can only be described as world class. His technique to control a volley after the ball had been dropping for what felt like an eternity was glorious. The ball may have taken a slight deflection but the strike was pure and powerful.

Zubimendi capped off a fine man-of-the-match performance with a second goal late in the second half. His carefully guided header from Trossard's cross beat the outstretched left hand of Sels in the Forest goal as it sailed high into the net.
