Arsenal was forced to share the points as they drew 1-1 with Brentford on Saturday evening despite a good team performance.

The Gunners took the lead on the hour mark as Thomas Partey ended a swift counter-attack with a well-taken strike from the right side of the box. Yoane Wissa levelled things up, however, with an improvised finish past David Raya to ensure his side left the Emirates with a point.

While Mikel Arteta's side dropped points once again in the Premier League, they put in a good performance against a resilient Brentford team and there were three players that stood out.

1. William Saliba

One of a few first-choice players kept in the side, William Saliba put in a brilliant performance against Brentford in both defence and attack.

The Frenchman was solid at the back, helping keep the Bees' threat to a minimum for most of the game. He enjoyed coming up against Kevin Schade, who he got booked in the first half, and also battled well with the opposition, winning a number of duels.

A bit out of character perhaps, but Saliba also did a good job of helping his side out in attack. He picked the ball up and drove high up the pitch on a number of occasions to help kickstart attacking sequences for his side. He created three chances throughout, the most by any player on the pitch.

Taking the opportunity to showcase his skills further up the pitch while also ensuring to do his defensive job, Saliba played brilliantly against Brentford.
