2. Riccardo Calafiori

Riccardo Calafiori has arguably been Arsenal's best player this season and he gets another mention in today's standouts.
Calafiori's attacking intent was sustained and potent; he was frequently in position to cross from overlaps outside of Trossard. The Italian looks far more comfortable playing behind Leandro Trossard than Eberechi Eze or Gabriel Martinelli.
The Italian's long throws were a threat and he drifted infield in the second half to bolster Arsenal's midfield. It was Calfiori's contentious tackle deep in injury time that set Arsenal on the attack for the equaliser.
On the downside, Calafiori's wayward cross did lead to City's counter attack for Haaland's opening goal.
