2. Eberechi Eze

It just had to be him who scored the only goal against his former club.
With captain Martin Ødegaard absent once again, Eze started in the midfield and was looking to orchestrate the game against the side who introduced him to the Premier League.
His big moment came when he opened the scoring with what turned out to be the eventual winner. Rice's free kick cross was cleared poorly and Eze was in position to meet the ball and volley a brilliant attempt past Dean Henderson, his first league goal for the Gunners.
He continued to be involved throughout the tie and played a few neat passes for his teammates as well as helping out defensively when needed before being withdrawn in the late stages. Eze was certainly a standout performer for Arsenal in their win over Palace.
