3 talking points ahead of Arsenal vs Man Utd
- Gunners host United at Emirates Stadium
- Must maintain form against a resurgent opponent
- Some fitness concerns for Mikel Arteta
2. Fitness concerns
The Gunners could have several key players missing for the visit of Man Utd.
Thomas Partey and Mikel Merino both missed the win at West Ham through injury. Gabriel Magalhaes and Riccardo Calafiori were also withdrawn during the proceedings, with the former coming off at half-time.
When asked on the availabilty of the four players, Mikel Arteta said: "We’re going to have a meeting this afternoon. We have done a training session, we have monitored and kept a few away from certain activities and after that meeting we will decide if everyone is fit and available and who will start." It will be interesting to see how Arteta deals with these challenges should he be presented with them. The Spaniard could certainly be set for a tough task in terms of selection ahead of Wednesday's crunch clash.
