2. Left-back dilemma

Perhaps the biggest dilemma Arteta faces with his team selection for the Monaco tie is who to start at left back.

With Calafiori still out and other alternatives doubtful, the Spaniard may not be left with much choice but to start a once-maligned figure. Kieran Tierney has returned to fitness and despite his very uncertain future, he seems the best option to start on the left side of defence on Wednesday.

The Scotsman is yet to make an appearance this season so will be suffering from a severe lack of match fitness.

Myles Lewis-Skelly could be an option but his lack of experience in the competition would make him a bold shout. Amid the dilemma, Tierney should be Arsenal's starting left-back against Monaco.
