As has been the case for most of his time as Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta has rotated his squad for this season's Carabao Cup games. That brings about the question whether he should continiue this trend against Newcastle or go full strength.

The Gunners have a busy month ahead of them with another six games to play after the Newcastle tie. Having already done so against Brentford and Brighton, Arteta will have to rotate his team at some point in order to avoid the risk of injury to key players. However, it seems smart to go full strength on Tuesday evening.

Newcastle will prove to be a tough test and certainly won't be a walkover so Arsenal will need to be in full force against them. With the Carabao Cup currently looking like a more realistic ambition than the league title, it would be wise for Arteta to put his strongest side out against Newcastle. Domestic cup or not, it is a great chance to reach a final.
