Arsenal welcome Nottingham Forest to the Emirates on Saturday afternoon as they return to action following the November international break.
In their last outing, the Gunners were held to a 1-1 draw by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Gabriel Martinelli's well-taken opener was cancelled out by a long-range strike by Pedro Neto. The draw with the Blues extended Arsenal's winless run in the Premier League to four games.
As the Gunners aim to get back to winning ways upon their return to league action, there are three key talking points ahead of this clash.
1. A fresh start
Arsenal find themselves in desperate need of a change in form as they sit in fourth place, nine points behind league leaders Liverpool. The international break came at a good time for Mikel Arteta's side as it would have allowed them a chance to reset and regroup.
The return from the break gives the Gunners the opportunity to put bad results behind them and make a fresh start as they head into the packed festive football period, starting against Nottingham Forest.
A win against Forest should put Arsenal back on track to catch up to title rivals Liverpool and Manchester City but it is a chance that must be taken. Anything other than a victory will simply revert the Gunners back to their attitude prior to the international break as they wave goodbye to their title hopes.
