2. Both sides have been through it
Both Arsenal and Tottenham were forced to extra-time in last weekend's FA Cup ties, as they were held after 90 minutes by Man Utd and Tamworth respectively.
As a result of playing 120 minutes of football, both sets of players are likely to be feeling it heading into the derby. The Gunners fielded a strong XI against United and Spurs brought on key players to help overcome their National League opponents, so both sides will be fatigued.
With the two respective squads still recovering from their demanding cup roles, this will likely have an impact on how this game plays out. September's matchup at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was a feisty affair but with fitness playing a part, it may not be the same on Wednesday. It could be a slow game at the Emirates but let's hope that despite fatigue, both teams are well up for it.
