Arsenal take on Inter at the iconic San Siro this evening as they look to extend their unbeaten European start in the fourth game of their Champions League campaign.

The Gunners come into the game off the back of a dismal 1-0 defeat at Newcastle. In their last European outing, Mikel Arteta's side secured three points with a slender 1-0 victory at home to Shakhtar Donetsk - a contest the majority of us have already forgotten.

As Arsenal prepare for what will no doubt be a tough test, there are three key talking points ahead of this continental clash.

The Gunners have had a good start to their Champions League campaign, winning two and drawing one of their opening three league phase fixtures.

Mikel Arteta's side are currently dwelling in and around the automatic qualification places and a win against Inter would propel them into those spots along with at least securing their place in the play-off round.

Making it straight into the knockout stage should be a priority for Arsenal as they will want to avoid the two extra games the play-off round would bring. Picking up three points against Inter will be crucial for the Gunners as it will ensure they maintain their brilliant continental form.
