Arsenal travel to face Ipswich Town on Sunday afternoon as they look to return to winning ways in the Premier League following two consecutive draws.

The Gunners secured a famous victory in their last outing, defeating Real Madrid 2-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu to seal a 5-1 aggregate triumph that saw them progress to the semi-finals of the Champions League. They failed to pick up three points in their last league game however, being held to a 1-1 draw at Emirates Stadium by a resilient Brentford side.

Despite Liverpool being so close to winning the league title and Arsenal's main target evidently being the Champions League, Mikel Arteta will be wanting his side to end their winless run on the domestic front with a win at Portman Road. There are three key talking points ahead of the Gunners' trip to Ipswich.

1. Rotation is likely

With the forthcoming semi-final against PSG likely to be a constant thought at the back of his mind, Mikel Arteta will be looking to rotate his side to keep his key players fit and avoid any dramatic changes in availability.

Ethan Nwaneri and Raheem Sterling are likely to be among the names that come into the starting XI, having both found minutes hard to come by recently in the Champions League. Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Martinelli will drop to the bench to have a much-needed rest.

While most fans will be wanting the likes of Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice to also be given a chance to sit back, it is likely Arteta will provide them with some further minutes. They are both key components in this Arsenal side and while they must be protected from injury, they also need to stay match fit.
