If you told me Arsenal were set to play Liverpool in one of the final matches of the season, while second and first respectively, I would've had plenty of excitement expecting it to be a crucial clash in a close-fought title race. With the Reds already having wrapped up the title however, that is not the case.

Regardless, as always between first and second or the 'big six' clubs, this promises to be a good game and with the Gunners really needing a win, they should be ready to fight at Anfield.

Liverpool may take an easier approach to the tie, but Arsenal must not also take that. While securing Champions League football is the main aim, it would be hard to deny that Mikel Arteta's side taking three points away from their title superiors would be bittersweet.
