3. Changes in attack

Gabriel Martinelli made the difference against Athletic Bilbao as he came off the bench to score and assist in the 2-0 victory. He notched the opener with a great run and finish before contributing to Leandro Trossard's goal late on.
That has provided Arteta a dilemma over who starts in attack against City and there will likely be some changes to the Gunners frontline this afternoon.
Having been dropped for the last two games, Martinelli will likely re-take the left wing position from Eberechi Eze. However, the summer signing will not drop out of the lineup. The former Crystal Palace man could make the shift to midfield as he looks to impress from an advanced role in the middle of the park.
Wherever Eze plays against City, it seems somewhat of a guarantee that Martinelli will replace him on the left flank. His impressive cameo against Bilbao should be rewarded with a return to the starting XI and will also give him the confidence he needs to get back to his best in the league.
