2. Ending Hammers hoodoo
Not only will Arsenal be looking to get one over on Liverpool this afternoon, they will also be looking to improve their recent record against West Ham.
The Hammers have been victorious in their last two visits to the Emirates Stadium, winning 2-0 in December 2023 and 1-0 in February 2025. Those defeats ended up having an impact on the Gunners' successes at the end of the respective campaigns.
With plenty on the line this afternoon, Arsenal will be hoping they can end this hoodoo and will fancy their chances of doing so as they welcome a side that has only secured one win so far this season.
