2. Battle of transfer targets

In the early stages of the transfer window, it seemed as if Arsenal would be lining up on the opening day with Benjamin Sesko leading their attack with United boasting Viktor Gyokeres up top. That won't be the case on Sunday however, with the respective players ready to represent the opposite side.

Sesko had looked to be the Gunners' preferred striker target while Gyokeres was tipped to be heading to Manchester, but their destinations ended up being swapped and that has sparked what could be an interesting battle at Old Trafford.

Both players will be looking to prove that they are the better striker and show the footballing world that their new clubs made the right choice. Of course, Arsenal fans will be hoping their new number 14 will be the shining light, but Sesko could cause the Gunners some problems.
