2. Road to silverware begins
Many have claimed this season has to be successful on the silverware front for the Gunners and tonight's game offers them a first sniff at a domestic cup.
Over the years, plenty have disregarded the Carabao Cup as a real trophy, but there is no denying that it is a major one that clubs do want to win year in, year out.
Having reached the semi-finals before falling to eventual champions Newcastle in last year's edition, Arsenal can set themselves on the road to silverware this evening. With a squad of serious quality, there is no reason why they can't be competing in this tournament.
