3. No easy game

While this is a great game for Arsenal to hand opportunites to certain players as well as starting their Carabao Cup campaign on a positive note, they can't take anything for granted this evening.

As has already been shown this season with Manchester United's defeat to Grimsby Town in the previous round, an upset is always on the cards, no matter the gap in leagues. Of course, United can't really be compared to the Gunners in their respective current states, but the point still stands.

Arteta's side can't be complacent and think this will be a walkover as not every aspect of this game will be straightforward. Arsenal have to be wary that Port Vale will cause problems and must be prepared for a tough game.
