Arsenal have enjoyed a good spell of form against London opponents in recent times, losing just two of the 26 contested since the start of the 2022/23 season.

Those defeats came in succession last December, against West Ham and Fulham respectively. Despite this, the Gunners have a good chance to extend this impressive record when they face the Hammers on Saturday evening. West Ham are in mixed form and currently face the prospect of losing three consecutive home derbies for the first time since 2019.

The Hammers have also not enjoyed the best of times against Arsenal throughout the Premier League era. They have lost on 36 occasions, with 15 of those defeats coming at home, both the most defeats they have suffered against any opponent in Premier League history.

Arsenal certainly have a great chance to extend both their derby record and their personal record against West Ham on Saturday.
