2. Approach to games

In the previous two seasons, Arsenal received much praise for their brilliance in both defence and attack. However, the Gunners have only seemed to acknowledge the former so far this season as they have taken a defensive approach to multiple games.

This approach has limited Arsenal to doing little damage to opponents, thus meaning fewer good results. Arteta has even been jokingly compared to ex-Stoke City manager Tony Pulis for his overly cautious approach to recent games.

The Gunners must change their approach after the international break and need to unleash the firepower they weald in attack. No changes will make wins harder and harder to come by and will ultimately cause great damage to their title hopes. Especially with Martin Odegaard now fully back in action, there is no real excuse for Arsenal not to be attacking teams throughout the majority of games.
