Arsenal reportedly hold an interest in Bayern Munich's Leroy Sane and may well make a move for the German international in January before his contract expires in Bavaria next summer.
After starting last season in remarkable form, Sane has endured a injury-hit 2024 and has dropped down the pecking order at the start of Vincent Kompany's tenure with Michael Olise hitting the ground running.
Thus, his future at Bayern is very much in doubt and Arsenal could decide to capitalise in the winter.
There are four reasons why Leroy Sane could end up being a great option for Arsenal.
1. Premier League experience
Leroy Sane spent four seasons in the Premier League with Manchester City, picking up a wealth of top-flight experience throughout his time in the north of England.
During his time with the Cityzens, he scored 25 goals and provided 29 assists in 90 league appearances. 54 goals and assists is not a bad return in that period of time or that amount of games. Goal contributions are not the only thing Sane boasts from his time at City as the winger also won two Premier League titles while with the club. As a result, he has a wealth of experience of both playing in and winning in England's top division.
The Germany international clearly has a winning mentality, one that has continued throughout his time at Bayern Munich, and this could be implemented at Arsenal. His signing could have a similar impact to those of fellow ex-City stars Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko.
