Newcastle have had a mixed start to their league campaign as they currently sit in 12th position. The Magpies have won three, drawn three, and lost three of their opening fixtures.

Eddie Howe's side have also had an up-and-down home record so far this season, winning just two of their four games at St James' Park. Arsenal have a good chance to head to what has been a difficult ground for them at times and grab a win.

The Gunners must be complacent however, considering that two 'big six' teams have dropped points at St James' Park so far. Tottenham fell to a 2-1 defeat, while title rivals Man City were held to a 1-1 draw. Nevertheless, Arsenal have a great chance to take three points from their trip to the North East.
