Max Dowman looks set to become the next Hale End star to break into the Arsenal first team following reports he will be involved in Mikel Arteta's plans for his side's pre-season campaign.
It is likely that he will continue in the first team if he impresses in the season preparations. The youngster is currently 15-years-old and doesn't turn 16 until 31 December, so there is a possibility he could become one of the Gunners' youngest ever players if he is to make his debut at some point in the next campaign.
Dowman is no stranger to breaking records and making headlines, having already enlisted himself as the youngest goalscorer in the UEFA Youth League with a strike against Atalanta earlier this season. With plenty of impressive performances at youth level under his belt, he will be looking to continue this form on the big stage.
The Gunners' Hale End academy has produced a number of great prospects over the years, with some big names making their mark as part of the club's first team squad. With Dowman potentially set to join that list, who are the youngest Arsenal players of all time?
5 youngest Arsenal players of all time
5. Jermaine Pennant - 16 years, 10 months and 15 days

Jermaine Pennant wrote his name in the Arsenal history books as the youngest player to appear for the club at the time of his debut. He came off the bench for the final 15 minutes of a 2-2 draw with Middlesbrough in the League Cup, with his side eventually losing on penalties.
The winger didn't enjoy a particularly successful career in north London, making just 26 appearances in six seasons. His most famous moment in a Gunners shirt came when he scored a hat-trick in a 6-1 victory over Southampton to kickstart the famous Invincibles run.
Pennant didn't have the chance to be an Invincible however as he was shipped out on loan to Leeds United for the 2003/04 season before departing permanently in 2005. His subsequent career was plagued with controversy before retiring in 2017 and he now works as a pundit.
4. Jack Wilshere - 16 years, 8 months and 12 days

Following impressive performances for Arsenal's academy teams, Jack Wilshere was awarded his senior debut in a 4-0 win away to Blackburn Rovers in 2008. He came on as a substitute for Robin van Persie in the final minutes of the match.
A loan move to Bolton Wanderers followed before he fully broke into the first team in the 2010/11 season, in which he put on his famous performance against Barcelona.
Wilshere continued to be a crucial part of Arsene Wenger's side throughout the years, but struggled tremendously with injury and was halted from ever reaching his full potential. He left his boyhood club in 2018, having scored 14 goals in 197 appearances, and after a spell as Arsenal's Under-18s head coach, is now working as part of the backroom staff at Norwich City.
3. Cesc Fabregas - 16 years, 5 months and 24 days

Cesc Fabregas joined the Arsenal academy from Barcelona in 2003 and made his first team debut soon after, breaking Pennant's record as the club's youngest player. The young midfielder was named as a starter in a League Cup tie against Rotherham United and managed to complete 85 minutes before being substituted.
He broke into the first team a year later and played a key part in his side reaching the FA Cup final, in which they defeated Manchester United. He then put in star performances against Real Madrid and Juventus on the way to the 2006 Champions League final.
Fabregas was named club captain in 2008 and led his side before departing for boyhood side Barcelona three years later. He made a return to the Premier League with a move to rivals Chelsea in 2014, remaining in west London for five seasons. Moves to Monaco and Como followed and he is now the manager of the latter.
2. Jack Porter - 16 years, 2 months and 10 days

Amid a mini goalkeeper emergency that saw David Raya, Neto and Tommy Setford all unavailable, Jack Porter made his Arsenal debut in a League Cup third round tie against Bolton Wanderers.
The academy star became the youngest goalkeeper to ever play for Arsenal, but failed to keep a clean sheet to mark the occasion, letting in a consolation finish from Aaron Collins.
It remains Porter's only senior appearance for the club to date, but he was included on the bench for a number of Premier League and Champions League games throughout the season, as well as appearing regularly for the Under-18s.
1. Ethan Nwaneri - 15 years, 5 months and 28 days

In the early days of Arsenal's first title challenge under Mikel Arteta, the Spaniard gave Ethan Nwaneri his senior debut in a 3-0 win at Brentford, at the age of just 15.
The youngster replaced Fabio Vieira in stoppage time to break Fabregas' near 20-year record and write himself into the history books as not only his club's youngest player, but also the youngest to ever play in the Premier League.
Nwaneri has enjoyed a breakout season in the first team this season, scoring nine goals in 36 appearances. He has been rewarded for his efforts with a new squad number ahead of the new campaign and looks set to have a continued involvement in Arteta's setup.
