Former Manchester United legend and a rival of Arsenal, Wayne Rooney, has tipped the Gunners to win the Premier League this season in a recent interview.
It is still way early into the season for anyone to have any real predictions - it is only November - but Rooney said that if he had to pick one club to win the league this season, he would give a slight edge to Arsenal over Manchester City.
Arsenal have conceded only five goals this season, and even though they drew 2-2 with Sunderland over the weekend, their record is still great and would be a huge factor in the title race.
Rooney talked about this, and about other factors including Manchester City, Liverpool's form, etc.
Wayne Rooney gives a slight edge to Arsenal for Premier League glory
He said: "I think it will be difficult for Liverpool now. I know Arsenal dropped points at the weekend but you look at their form overall and the way Man City are coming into a great run, it will be difficult for Liverpool.
"But it’s still early on in the season so you never know. I just think Arsenal and Man City are the two favourites now.
"Arsenal will be a little bit nervous about Man City coming up but I think it will be one of them two. I still probably edge towards Arsenal. I have Arsenal as slight favourites."
It is very early on in the season, but at the same time, he has a point. Arsenal have looked really good despite dropping points over the weekend. They were very close to getting that win over Sunderland, and if it weren't for a last-minute equaliser, they looked well on their way.
Of course, dips happen. Every team will drop points at some point during the season. Manchester City are not any different to that, and neither are Arsenal.
Arsenal are still four points clear of Manchester City, though, which is really good news for them. Even after the draw, they have a lot of room to breathe in, which will help Arsenal in the long run.
The Gunners were obviously on an unlikely way of aiming to match Chelsea's incredible defensive record from a few years ago. While that may not happen now, they can still have one of the best defensive seasons of all time in the Premier League.
Conceding five goals in 16 games is no easy feat, and Mikel Arteta would hope there is plenty more where that came from.
