Declan Rice (DM) - 6/10 - Did okay at the base of midfield, but he's perhaps not the dictator Arsenal required in this sort of game - hence why Jorginho came on 15 minutes into the second half.

Mikel Merino (CM) - 5.5/10 - Took up some decent positions down the left-hand side, but this wasn't a particularly convincing performance from the summer arrival. Execution let him down in the final third.

Martin Odegaard (CM) - 5/10 - Improved after half-time but missed the mark for the most part and was hooked on the hour for teenager Ethan Nwaneri. Arsenal struggle in and around the opposition's box when the skipper's not at full tilt.
