3. Jakub Kiwior could be a liability at the highest level

When Jakub Kiwior failed to deal with a bouncing ball under a little pressure from Richarlison, he did little to suggest that he is the man to partner Saliba in Gabriel's absence.

Arsenal's inability to deal with set-pieces highlighted just how much Arsenal miss Gabriel's dominance and Kiwior is not an adequate replacement in these areas.

Interestingly, the introduction of Christhian Mosquera alongside Saliba looked rock solid and assured. Sure, this is a partnership is in its infancy (15 minutes at the end of a pre-season match) but there is room for cautious optimism.
