Declan Rice (DM) - 6.5/10 - Offers so much when Arsenal don't have the ball and he played a key role in ensuring Ipswich were stifled. However, there's no denying that Rice needs to offer more, given the positions he takes up, during periods of sustained pressure. He's too risk-averse at times.

Kai Havertz (CM) - 8/10 - A solid all-round performance from Havertz, who did a little bit of everything. After opening the scoring, Havertz contributed to Arsenal's stellar work when possession was lost and helped his side get up the pitch by having success in the air. A proper shift.

Martin Odegaard (CM) - 7.5/10 - Struggled in the first half but was much more assertive after the restart and eventually grabbed the game by the scruff of its neck.
