Yes, it was acedemic, but the return of Havertz for the final stanza was a sight for sore eyes.
With the Gunners' need for a new striker in the summer, Havertz went straight into the No. 9 role and looked up for the contest.
His efforts didn't amount to much, but having him back on the pitch ahead of a huge offseason is a plus.
