Martin Ødegaard (CM) - 9/10 - Caused plenty of problems with a number of good passes, including a through ball in the build-up to his side's opener. A real orchestrator in the midfield through the whole game while also defending when needed. Denied a goal late on by a brilliant save, but assisted Saka for the second.

Martín Zubimendi (CM) - 7/10 - A good performance as he fulfilled his role at the base of midfield. Helped kickstart the move that led to his side's opener. Shown a yellow card for pulling down Gelson Martins.

Mikel Merino (CM) - 7/10 - Battled well in the middle and looked to play an advanced role. Involved in Arsenal's first goal as he found Ødegaard with a good pass. Replaced in the second half.
