Gabriel Martinelli (RW) - 8/10 - Missed a glorious chance when he headed wide inside three minutes, but made amends with a tap-in to put his side ahead. A constant nuisance for the visitors throughout the night. Withdrawn with 20 minutes remaining.

Viktor Gyökeres (ST) - 7/10 - Involved in his side's opener as he beat two defenders before seeing a shot saved only for Martinelli to convert the rebound. Sent an effort over the crossbar late in the first half after some good individual work. Failed to score, but demonstrated his outstanding physicality.

Leandro Trossard (LW) - 6.5/10 - Looked to cause issues on the left flank, but couldn't impact as much as his teammates. Fired a strike over the bar late in the first half before missing a similar effort after the break. Taken off midway through the second half.
