Thomas Partey (CM) - 5/10 - Not for the first time in recent memory, Thomas Partey looked well off the pace. His clumsy foul on Cuenca at the start of the second half, following a needless loss of possession, summed up Partey's sluggish and mistake-prone display.

Declan Rice (CM) - 7/10 - If Nwaneri was the brightest spark going forward, Declan Rice wasn't far behind. He was the driving force from deep, making typically powerful and buccaneering runs Fulham struggled to restrain.

Martin Odegaard (AM) - 6/10 - As warmups go, this was low-key stuff from Martin Odegaard, ahead of facing former club Real. Perhaps his mind is on a reunion with Los Blancos, but Odegaard missed two very presentable chances to punish Fulham either side of the break. His passing wasn't always on point, although one return ball for Timber was a thing of beauty.

Overall though, the Gunners are going to need more from their creator-in-chief once the games get bigger.
