Arsenal was twice pegged back by Crystal Palace in a 2-2 draw at the Emirates.

Arsenal has once again dropped points after a 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace that puts Liverpool within touching distance of the league title.

Twice the Gunners took the lead, and twice they were pegged back, with a poor defensive showing the catalyst for both Palace goals.

Leandro Trossard continued his hot run of form, with a well-taken goal to make it three in his last two games, while defender Jakub Kiwior gave the Gunners the lead just minutes into the contest.

But Eberechi Eze was left alone on the edge of the box, and a delightful corner routine saw Palace bring themselves level in the first half. Then, with under 10 minutes left in the game, a William Saliba mistake allowed Jean-Philippe Mateta to pounce, and his delicious dink over David Raya again brought the visitors level.

Arsenal huffed and puffed, but couldn't get the winner as it is another two points dropped from Mikel Arteta's side.

Trossard in form

Three goals in two games and all of them well-taken efforts have given Mikel Arteta something to think about moving forward. Not usually seen as a big goal-scorer, but the winger is in a rich vein of form right now.
