Arsenal were held to a 2-2 draw by PSV Eindhoven at Emirates Stadium but are comfortably through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League with a 9-3 aggregate win.

With progression pretty much secured, Mikel Arteta made seven changes to his side, bringing the likes of Oleksandr Zinchenko and Raheem Sterling into the fold. Kieran Tierney was also handed a start but in an experimental left wing position.

It was a fast start for the Gunners as they took the lead inside six minutes. Sterling managed to feed the ball to former Manchester City teammate Zinchenko who curled in a fine effort from just outside the box.

Ivan Perisic levelled it up on the night when he scooped a brilliant shot into the top corner from the centre of the box.

Arsenal kept up the pressure however and their lead was restored with eight minutes to go until half-time. Sterling played a superb cross into the box for Declan Rice to head in with power from the centre of the box. The midfielder's goal meant his side went into the break ahead.

The game didn't slow down in the second half with the Gunners hunting for a third and PSV looking for another equaliser. David Raya made a good save to keep out Isaac Babadi. Riccardo Calafiori then went close but was denied after being put through on goal following a really nice team move.

The visitors levelled the game for a second time with 20 minutes to play when they caught Jorginho on the ball before playing Couhaib Driouech in on goal. With Raya rushing out of his goal, the Moroccan beat him with a well executed lob.

Both sides went close to winning it late on but the game ended 2-2. Despite being denied a win in the second leg, Arsenal advance to the quarter-finals of the Champions League thanks to a whopping 9-3 aggregate victory. The Gunners will take on 15-time winners Real Madrid in the last eight after their controversial penalty shootout victory over Atleti.

Here are the Arsenal player ratings from their 2-2 draw with PSV Eindhoven.

Goalkeeper & Defenders

David Raya (GK) - 7/10 - Couldn't do much about either goal. Made two good fingertip saves to deny the visitors in either half. Denied PSV a winner with another top stop late in the second half.

Ben White (RB) - 7/10 - Looked good at times and combined well with Sterling down the right. Got up the pitch well and did attempt some crosses into the box. Did give the ball away late in the first half and was lucky to be bailed out by his teammates. Replaced with 10 minutes remaining.

Jakub Kiwior (CB) - 6.5/10 - Presented PSV a chance to equalise after the opening goal but will be thankful Bakayoko's effort went over the bar. Shown a harsh yellow card for a foul on Perisic just before half-time.

Gabriel Magalhaes (CB) - 7/10 - Another solid showing for the Brazilian. Made a superb tackle to deny Driouech a certain leveller in the first half.

Myles Lewis-Skelly (LB) - 7.5/10 - Played the inverted role well, frequently switching with Zinchenko and Tierney. Almost grabbed a goal when he was put through by Merino but was denied by a good save onto the post. Put Calafiori through with a neat flick in the second half.
