Bukayo Saka (RW) - 7/10 - Linked up well with White down the right flank and made some good runs. Looked to cause problems with his crosses into the box, but they were dealt with well. Withdrawn with just under half hour to play.

Viktor Gyokeres (ST) - 6.5/10 - Grew into the game after a frustrating first half hour and saw a powerful shot blocked. Drew some fouls and looked to pressure the Villarreal backline. Had another effort kept out in the second half before being substituted.

Gabriel Martinelli (LW) - 6.5/10 - Had a mixed game down the left flank, causing problems for the Villarreal defence, but also slowing down attacking moves by looking to cut inside. Assisted Norgaard's goal with a good delivery from a corner. Brought off with 15 minutes to play.
