Midfielders
Martin Odegaard (CM) - 6.5/10 - Looked good on the ball and was his usual creative self. Not as clinical with his passing as usual but still a good showing. Will be annoyed to have missed a one-on-one chance to double his side's lead in the first half. Taken off with ten minutes to play.
Mikel Merino (CM) - 7.5/10 - A good performance from the Spaniard as he battled well in the midfield and also played his part in attack. Starting to look really good in this Arsenal team.
Declan Rice (CM) - 8/10 - Really good performance from Rice who commanded the midfield very well. Made a few good runs with the ball as he weaved in and out of the Monaco players. Looked untouchable at times. Taken off with just under half hour remaining.
