Bukayo Saka (RW) - 8.5/10 - Caused plenty of problems for Alaba and Madrid's left side with his tricky feet. Played a superb low cross into the box but none of his teammates could connect with it. Won both free kicks for the opening two goals with brilliant runs. Withdrawn with 15 minutes to play.

Mikel Merino (ST) - 7.5/10 - Back in his makeshift role and back among the goals. Sealed the win with a fine finish from the edge of the box in the second half after he had been denied a number of times early in the game. Showed once again he can do the job up top.

Gabriel Martinelli (LW) - 7/10 - Showcased his Brazilian brilliance once again to be a main source of problems for the visitors' defence. Made his way into the box with skilful runs on more than one occasion before switching over to the right side following Saka's substitution.
