Odegaard shows his worth

All week we told you that when Arsenal doesn't have the magician at the peak of his powers, it suffers, but when he is in full flight, the Gunners purr.

Against Palace we saw that on full display. A poor first half in which the skipper looked on from the bench, but when introduced at half-time, the Gunners emerged a completely different outfit.

Taking advantage of the space afforded on the right-hand side, his ball for Jesus was sublime as that kind of decisive pass had been missing of late.

His importance to this team can't be understated, and we saw that play out in a game of two halves.
