Arsenal maintained their winning form on Wednesday evening as they cruised to a 2-0 victory over Manchester United.
The Gunners have set pieces to thank once again with both their goals against United coming from corners. Jurrien Timber put his side ahead with a glanced header from Declan Rice's corner before William Saliba deflected in Thomas Partey's ball to seal the three points.
Several players put in brilliant performances against United, but there were three standout performers for Arsenal.
1. Declan Rice
Declan Rice was the hero against United last season when he got on the end of a corner to win the game for Arsenal in stoppage time. In this campaign, he became the provider as his set pieces caused plenty of problems for the visitors.
He assisted Timber for the opener and continued to trouble the Red Devils with his brilliant deliveries from corners and free kicks. Rice even went close to scoring when Andre Onana was forced to tip his cross over the bar.
Arsenal's record signing also made his presence known in midfield, making several runs to put United under pressure and put his side in the driving seat. It was an all-around brilliant and standout performance from Rice.
