According to Simon Collings, Arsenal's Andrea Berta is in talks with right-back Jurrien Timber, and the feeling at the club is that they are confident Timber will sign a new contract at some point.
Timber's current deal with Arsenal expires in June 2028, so there would probably be no rush from the player's side or the team's side to get this completed as soon as possible.
However, it is still better for both parties to get it done as soon as possible to reduce the risk of potential clubs coming in and offering money for a player Arsenal clearly do not want to sell.
Timber has been an exceptional signing for Arsenal, and ever since he returned from his ACL injury after joining the club, it seems like the Dutch full-back just has not looked back.
