Arsenal have confirmed Leandro Trossard is set to join Beşiktaş after an agreement was reached between the two clubs.
The Gunners revealed in a short statement on Tuesday afternoon that they had agreed a transfer fee with the Süper Lig side, meaning the Belgium international has been allowed to travel to Istanbul to complete a medical and the formalities of the move.
While there are still some areas that need to be addressed before the deal is completely official, communication from both Arsenal and Beşiktaş makes it obvious that the North Londoners are waving goodbye to one of their most crucial players from the last few seasons.

Beşiktaş appeared to confirm the Trossard agreement around half an hour before the Gunners, posting a cryptic hint at the winger's trademark celebration on their official X account ahead of sharing an official statement.
The 21-time Turkish champions then posted photos and videos of the Belgian donning their famous black and white kit, revealing he is set to arrive at Ataturk Airport at 7.30pm local time to complete the final steps of his move.
Trossard joined Arsenal from Brighton in January 2023 for a reported £21million fee and he immediately became an important part of Mikel Arteta's setup, scoring one goal and providing 10 assists in 22 appearances during his first half-season in North London.
He continued to prove his worth, finding the back of the net 17 times across all competitions in the 2023/24 campaign, helping his side secure a second-place finish once again. His form dipped slightly in the following term, scoring 10 and assisting 10 in 56 games, but his value was still clear, prompting the Gunners to reject approaches in the 2025 summer transfer window.
In what proved to be his final season with the Gunners, Trossard continued to display his importance in the red half of North London, netting eight times and providing 11 assists, with the most notable being setting up Kai Havertz for the opening goal in the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain.
The most memorable strike of his Arsenal career came in the 2025/26 season when he found the winner with a late finish at West Ham, a goal that proved to be ultimately crucial in his side finally securing their first league title in 22 years.
Trossard played a total of 174 games for the Gunners, scoring 36 goals and providing 34 assists during his three-and-a-half-year spell at the club and is set to depart as a Premier League winner and cult hero.
Reports have suggested Arsenal will receive an initial £15.3m for his services, with a further £1.7m in add-ons. Supporters will be hoping his departure will now pave the way for the club to work on bringing in a new left winger before the new season begins.
