David Raya and Ethan Nwaneri will wear new shirt numbers for the 2025/25 season, Arsenal have confirmed.
The Gunners unveiled their new home kit ahead of the club's final home game of the campaign, with Newcastle visiting the Emirates on Sunday. A poor run of domestic form amid Mikel Arteta's focus on Champions League glory means a top-five finish is not yet secure with two games to go, and Newcastle will climb into second should they win in north London this weekend.

Arsenal will continue the tradition of wearing their fresh strip for the following season during the final home game of the ongoing campaign on Sunday. The attire for 2025/26 is strictly red and white, with Adidas describing the club's new home kit as: "A classic Gunners home jersey with intricate details inspired by club history."
It's simple but smart, with Adidas also incorporating "Gothic-style A's" across the front and back of the shirt to provide a vintage touch. It looks like a title-winning strip, to me!

In addition to the home kit's release, Arsenal have confirmed that David Raya has taken the number one shirt having previously donned #22. The Spaniard, who's in contention to claim back-to-back Premier League Golden Glove awards, succeeds Aaron Ramsdale as the holder of Arsenal's #1 shirt.
The English shot-stopper joined Southampton in a £25m deal last August.
The switch opened up the door for teenage starlet Ethan Nwaneri to veer away from #53 and join the world of familiar first-team shirt numbers. The playmaker, who broke through over the winter amid Bukayo Saka's absence, will take Raya's #22 previously worn by modern-day Arsenal greats such as Pablo Mari, Denis Suarez, and Yayo Sanogo.
Those are the only changes for now, but we can expect a few more over the summer. Some might expect Myles Lewis-Skelly to change from #49 with #3 soon to be available once Kieran Tiereny's exit is made official, although the 18-year-old's Arsenal future may reside in midfield.
Moreover, two iconic Gunners shirts are still vacant. The #10 and #14 shirts vacated by Emile Smith Rowe and Eddie Nketiah weren't taken by any new arrival last summer, but with a busy transfer window expected in north London, these two numbers will surely be donned in 2025/26.
Who's going to be our next Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp?
