Arsenal have learned who they will face in the league phase of the 2025/26 Champions League.

Having been placed in pot two, the Gunners faced the possibility of being drawn against a number of Europe's biggest and most successful clubs. There was potential for the north London side to be handed a perfect draw and many will argue that is somewhat the case.

As the tournament enters its second year with the league format, Mikel Arteta's side now know who they will compete with as they look to qualify for the knockout stage in hopes of winning their first ever Champions League title.

Bayern Munich were the first to be drawn from pot one and their virtually-decided fixtures saw them be handed a trip to the Emirates Stadium, meaning Arsenal will host the Bundesliga champions.

The Gunners' second opponent from the top seed was decided soon after. Arteta will take his side to the San Siro to face Inter Milan having done so during last season's league phase. That matchup ended in a 1-0 defeat.

With Zlatan Ibrahimovic pulling Arsenal's name out of the pot, the Gunners learnt their full fate for the remainder of the league phase.

Drawn from pot two were La Liga side Atletico Madrid, who Arteta's side will host in north London. They were also handed a trip to face Club Brugge, who qualified last night after defeating Rangers 9-1 on aggregate.

Moving into pot three, Arsenal were handed another tough test as they host 48-time Greek champions Olympiacos, as well as travelling to Slavia Prague. They have had recent history with both of those sides.

The draw was capped off with teams from pot four drawn against the Gunners. Arteta's side will welcome tournament newcomers Kairat Almaty to north London after they qualified for the tournament for the first time in their history following a sensational penalty shootout win over Celtic.

Finally, Arsenal were presented a trip to Spanish side Athletic Bilbao, who they recently defeated 3-0 in the 2025 Emirates Cup.

Fans can be pretty happy with the results of the draw. The Gunners have been handed some pretty winnable ties and that will hand Arteta and his side a huge boost as they look to end their long wait to win the Champions League.
