Arsenal have discovered who they will face in the league phase of the 2026/27 Champions League.
Now finding themselves seventh in the UEFA Club Coefficient Ranking, the Gunners were placed in Pot 1 for the draw, but that did not benefit them in the same way as it previously would have in the former group stage format.
Mikel Arteta's side are looking to go one better than their attempts last season, having fallen to Paris Saint-Germain in the 2026 final. Despite going ahead through Kai Havertz early on, the Parisians equalised and defeated the North Londoners in a penalty shootout.
The Gunners now know how their journey will start as they face these eight teams in the league phase.

Real Madrid were the first club to be pulled out by Thierry Henry and that led to them being handed a trip to the Emirates Stadium. It will see the Gunners host the 15-time champions for the first time since defeating them 3-0 in April 2025.
Arsenal had to wait their turn to find out their next opponent, but like an extreme version of London buses, they all came out at once as their name was drawn as one of the last from Pot 1 to reveal every team they will face.
In North London, Arteta's side will welcome Borussia Dortmund, Lille and Azerbaijani newcomers Sabah to the Emirates. The Gunners recently faced the Yellow and Black in pre-season, losing 3-2 at home.
They have been dealt some tough away tests with trips to face Bayern Munich, Real Betis, Napoli and Slavia Prague. Bayern and Slavia were opponents in last season's league phase with Arsenal running out as 3-1 and 3-0 winners in the respective games.
Arteta will be hoping his team can replicate their performance in the 2025/26 league phase as they secured eight victories to finish top of the table and hand them a significant advantage in their route to the final.
Their ties are certainly tough with hosting Real Madrid and a trip to Bayern among those that will certainly pose a challenge while every other opponent will be eager to prevent last year's finalists from going all the way.
The order of play and the dates of Arsenal's fixtures are set to be confirmed when the Champions League schedule is published on Saturday, but fans will already be preparing for every single game as the Gunners look to start a journey that will hopefully end the aggravating wait to win Europe's premier competition.
