That was the best Premier League matchweek of the season so far. There was action right from the first minute to the last in most matches, with the two North London sides scoring goals right at the end of their respective matches.
Tottenham's match came first, and they were hilariously a goal down against Wolves, who were on track to pick up their first result of the season. Wolves are comically bad, so Tottenham should have beaten them with flying colors - but they didn't.
Thankfully for them, a last-gasp goal from João Palhinha meant they picked up at least one point against the worst team in the league.
Imagine if an Arsenal player celebrated like João Palhinha did
Look, we won't come on here and say that João Palhinha shouldn't have celebrated (that'd be quite contradictory, given our anti-celebration-police stance). He has every right to celebrate, but the manner in which he celebrated is just hilarious.
After scoring a goal to draw (yes, draw, not win) against Wolves (their first point of the season), João Palhinha took off his shirt. Given the scenes and the commotion, you would be forgiven for thinking they just won the league with that goal.
But, we reiterate, they scored an equalizing goal in MW6 against bottom-of-the-league Wolves on home soil. That is quite remarkable.
Palhinha shirt off running to the crowd for a stoppage time equaliser against Wolves…

Presumably those Spurs fans that were very vocal about Arsenal celebrations will be equally loud
Arsenal is known to celebrate dramatically when scoring late and they are known for being emotional, but I think even the supporters would be embarrassed by a shirt being taken off for a frankly awful result.
But this is the double standard in the English media. You might see a few whispers complaining about Spurs' celebrations at the weekend, but they won't be anywhere near as loud as those concerning Arsenal.
And, I must make myself clear, Gabriel Martinelli shouldn't have celebrated as much as he did after equalizing against Man City. The players should have followed Martin Zubimendi in picking up the ball and running back to the center spot to pick up a winner.
Palhinha just took his top off for scoring an equaliser at home against bottom of the league.

But it won't get anywhere near the coverage of Arsenal briefly celebrating an equaliser (and Zubi was getting the ball) against Manchester City.
But the point is that this celebration was more ridiculed by the English media than Palhinha's frankly laughable celebration against Wolves. The conditions were miles apart, but Arsenal is held to a much higher standard than Tottenham, we guess.
