Arsenal fans have had a lot to say about Gabriel Jesus' imminent move to Barcelona

In a surprise turn of events, Gabriel Jesus is set to complete a €10 million (£8.6 million) move from Arsenal to Barcelona before Tuesday's transfer deadline.

This deal has provoked an array of different reactions from Arsenal fans, with many gobsmacked that the Catalan giants want to sign a player who looked physically frail towards the end of last season.

Jesus has largely been a popular figure at Arsenal, particularly after the contributions he made to the Gunners' cult classic 2022/23 season. However, his persistent injury issues and finishing woes have frustrated many along the way.

Thus, it's not particularly surprising that his imminent exit has sparked a mix of emotions from the Arsenal fanbase.

Meanwhile, another supporter focused on the financial aspect of the deal, complaining that this was another example of the Gunners failing to sell adequately: "£8.5m for Gabriel Jesus in this window is all shade of poor selling. Gabriel Jesus should be worth at least £20m even with his age and contract situation."
