Arsenal FPL prices 2026/27: How much every player costs

Fantasy Premier League is now live, and players can begin building their original squads. As always, player prices are subject to change and players who arrive at clubs will be added into the database.

The first step is selecting your FPL team name, but once that art form is masterfully curated, it's now time to select which players you want. As Arsenal fans, it's natural to want a team of entirely Arsenal players. However, that's not possible. You are only able to select a maximum of three players from one Premier League team in your fantasy team.

Key price changes and what they mean

The most notable price change involves Arsenal's Gabriel, who has increased by a whopping £2.0m. He is the most expensive defender in the game, with Jurrien Timber his closest competitor at £1.5m less (£6.5m).

Martin Odegaard is one of the players who has seen his price drop rather drastically. Where he was valued at £8.0m last season, he is now just £6.5m, a decrease of -£1.5m.

In truth, FPL price does not represent on-field quality. In fact, FPL points do not represent on-field quality, either. It is merely a game that rewards attacking returns or defensive clean sheets. No player expects it to take into account the subtle nuances of the sport.

Best value Arsenal picks for FPL managers

Despite being the highest-priced defender in the game, Gabriel represents incredible value. He was the third-highest scoring player (in any position) last season, only bettered by Bruno Fernandes and Erling Haaland. Due to being a defender, he remains a fraction of their price this year.

Declan Rice at £7.5m is an absolute no-brainer. He is Arsenal's corner taker, and we know how the cliché with Arsenal and corners goes.

It remains to be seen how expensive new signing Christos Tzolis is, but we all know he's a direct player who loves to get himself involved in goals and assists. The question remains whether he can translate that to the Premier League, but if he's priced at anywhere less than £7.0m in FPL, he's certainly worth a punt.

David Raya was the highest-scoring goalkeeper in the game last season, and that'll probably remain the same. Invest £6.0m in him, and you can then go with the budget option for his backup. After all, you won't be rotating him.

Overpriced or risky options to avoid

I probably wouldn't go for Arsenal's most expensive option, Bukayo Saka. At his price range (£9.5m), there are better FPL options at other clubs.

Viktor Gyokeres at £7.5m is another risky option. It remains to be seen how much he'll play, particularly with Kai Havertz's World Cup trip being cut short.

For squad selection reasons, Gabriel Martinelli is also worth avoiding, at least early on. We'll see what his minutes are looking like before investing in him.

Early FPL strategy: Should you invest in Arsenal players?

Certainly. I would backload Arsenal with David Raya and Gabriel. Many managers will be selecting them, so you won't want to fall behind.

Then, if you want a third Arsenal option, Declan Rice is the best value-for-money player at Arsenal in the midfield.
