Arsenal have been handed an all-Premier League tie as they are set to host Brighton in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
The Gunners secured their spot in the next stage after a 2-0 third round victory away to Port Vale. Eberechi Eze opened his account for the club to put his side ahead inside eight minutes before substitute Leandro Trossard put the seal on victory in the closing stages of the game.
Mikel Arteta's side have now kickstarted their journey to silverware and they will face a tough test in the next round.
Arsenal to host Brighton in Carabao Cup fourth round

The draw was made on Wednesday evening following Arsenal's win at Vale Park with several other top Premier League teams following the north London side into the next round.
The Gunners were the first name to be drawn, handing them a home tie before Brighton were pulled moments later.
Fabian Hürzeler's side reached this stage after 6-0 wins away to Oxford United and Barnsley in the second and third rounds respectively. Diego Gomez stole the show against the latter as he scored four stunning goals to fire his team to victory.
Despite the Seagulls being a troublesome force in recent years, Arsenal will be considered the favourites going into the tie, given their good start to the season and boasting the home advantage.

However, Brighton did make their mark at the Emirates the last time these two sides met in the Carabao Cup. Then led by Roberto de Zerbi, they took a 3-1 win from north London to knock the Gunners out in the third round of the 2022/23 edition.
They were then the source of controversy in the capital last season in a 1-1 draw early in the campaign. Declan Rice was bizarrely shown a second yellow card for lightly tapping the ball away before a Brighton free kick. With the player advantage eventually allowing the Seagulls to snatch a point, the game's refereeing drew plenty of criticism from the Gunners faithful.
Arsenal will be looking to put that behind them though when they welcome Brighton to the Emirates for this tie. It is set to be played during the week commencing 27 October with a kick-off date to be confirmed in due course.
It will be the first meeting between the two sides this season with their first league encounter not scheduled to be played until 27 December.
