There's a dark injury could hanging over Arsenal right now, but those cloudy skies could be about to part according to The Mirror.

Over the past month, Arsenal's injuries to its attacking weapons have dominated the headlines with Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus, and Kai Havertz all sidelined.

That has left Mikel Arteta to shift the magnets and get creative in how he sets his team up, meaning the likes of Mikle Merino having to be deployed up front and to good effect in the 2-0 win over Leicester City at the weekend.

But now, the Gunners, after months and months of bad news after bad news, might finally have a breather on the injury front.

Brace yourselves.

Per The Mirror, both Saka and Martinelli could be making their returns sooner rather than later with a possibly April 1 date against Fulham the most likely.

“Mikel Arteta is hoping to have Bukayo Saka AND Gabriel Martinelli back after the next international break,” The Mirror writes. “They could even return to face Fulham on Tuesday, April 1, to give Arsenal's run-in a huge boost after their devastating injury list. It means Arsenal will be without Saka and Martinell for the next six games but the hope is they will step up training during that period and then be ready for the business end of the campaign.”

You hear that? That is the collective sigh of relief from the Gunners fans all around the world.

So,, there might finally be some good news on the horizon, and now all the gunners have to do is try to keep their heads afloat until the pair return in the coming weeks.

Of course, that is easier said than done, but at least there is something positive coming down the pipeline for the north London club after months of having player after player sit on the sidelines.

But the big question now is can the Gunners keep their heads above water until the pair come back? Additionally, the club won't want to rush either back unless they are still in the thick of the title race and with Liverpool's next run of fixtures that sees them play Aston Villa, Manchester City and Newcastle, the Gunners might be within striking distance when Saka and Martinelli return.

The cloudy skies might finally be parting for Arsenal after a season of injury after injury. Now that they finally have some good news, can the club stay in the title race long enough for Saka and Martinelli to help when they return?
