Bukayo Saka was involved in the international break. Unfortunately, significant Arsenal injury news broke when he was seen limping off the pitch for England vs Greece.

Bukayo Saka then missed the second match of the international break, when England beat Finland. So, alarm bells were instantly ringing. This is to be expected, considering Bukayo Saka is one of Arsenal's most important players.

Speaking to the media this morning, Mikel Arteta has provided a bit more light on the Bukayo Saka injury front, from an Arsenal perspective. Of course, they underwent their own medical analysis for Bukayo Saka, despite hearing from the England camp.

What injury does Bukayo Saka have?

According to a report from The Athletic, it is believed to be a hamstring issue which Bukayo Saka suffered. When subbed off for England, the Arsenal winger was holding his hamstring, an issue which likely occurred throughout the match.

When will Bukayo Saka return from injury?

Speaking to the press this morning, Mikel Arteta was optimistic that Bukayo Saka would return from injury in time to face Bournemouth this Saturday.

In his own words, Mikel Arteta said: "It's not a serious injury. He's evolving really well. He's done a few things in the last two days. Obviously, he wasn't fit enough to play with the national team for the second game but we are hopeful."

Mikel Arteta then continued, claiming that Arsenal have a training session this afternoon (Friday), which will be influential to his decision. As things stand, though, Mikel Arteta is hopeful about Bukayo.

Who can replace Bukayo Saka at Arsenal?

Hopefully, Bukayo Saka is fit to play this week. If he isn't, Arsenal do have backup options.

They could introduce Gabriel Jesus or Raheem Sterling to the starting lineup. This way, Arsenal would have a fluid attack, with or without Bukayo Saka.

It is worth noting, though, that Mikel Arteta is a big fan of Bukayo Saka. He has a reputation of playing Saka in every match, even if he is only half fit.

Is Bukayo Saka available for Fantasy Football?

Reading between the lines, Mikel Arteta plans to use Bukayo Saka in the starting lineup against Bournemouth. So, yes, Bukayo Saka should be available for fantasy football.

Bukayo Saka is a great option to have in fantasy football. In fact, he is probably THE option for Arsenal, as he is always involved in goals or assists. As the main corner taker, it's a golden opportunity.
