A long list of injuries could lead to several interesting battles

3. Bukayo Saka vs Andy Robertson
Arteta says that Saka is “unlikely” to feature, so you could probably put money on him making the matchday squad.
He failed to do so for our past two matches and, even if he returns to training, throwing him straight back in might be a risk that the boss is not willing to take. But Saka will be given every chance as he forms the heart of the Gunners' attack, and we simply do not pose the same threat without him.
One relative certainty is that Andy Robertson will resume the LB berth for Liverpool after a small midweek rest. Of course, his marauding runs and strong dueling will give us plenty to think about defensively, but Saka is always willing to track back and could do much to stifle any Reds’ influence from that side.
Furthermore, our man is equally comfortable taking on the defender on the inside or out and, unlike midweek, will help Arsenal to take full advantage of any numerical superiorities created via overloads from the right back – whoever that may be.
Saka has made several miraculous recoveries before; Arsenal desperately need him to pull off another one before Sunday.
