3. Bukayo Saka vs Diogo Dalot
Arsenal and Bukayo Saka are in the goal-scoring mood; Diogo Dalot might be about to face the battle of his life.
Even if his teammates have not always shone, Saka is enjoying a stellar campaign himself and added the West Ham scalp to his collection last Saturday – a goal and two assists bringing his 24/25 tally to 15 goal contributions in just 12 domestic games.
That will likely concern United as Dalot is set to feature as an emergency left-back (because of a second suspension—this time for Lisandro Martínez), and he might find the going tough against a purring Gunners frontline, even if he is adept at defending on both flanks.
His job will only be made more difficult by the prospective interchanges between Odegaard, Jurrien Timber, and Saka along our right-hand side, while Saka’s own qualities (taking defenders on inside or out, half-space crosses, etc.) mean he is more than capable of tormenting Dalot all by himself; the Portuguese international will need all the help he can get.
Much depends upon our #7. He rarely fails to deliver.
